The End of Immigration Control.

No more visa expirations. No more restrictions. We secure your Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), granting you permanent status in the UK.

Check Eligibility

One Final, Forensic Audit.

Settlement is not automatic. It is a retrospective audit of your entire history in the UK.

The Home Office will scrutinise every absence, every tax return, and every day of residence from the last 5 or 10 years. A single calculation error in your 'Absence Count' or a discrepancy in your tax history can reset the clock to zero. We ensure your history is bulletproof before you apply.

The Pathways

The Mathematics of Absence.

  • The 180-Day Limit

You cannot be outside the UK for more than 180 days in any rolling 12-month period. We calculate this 'rolling' window precisely to prevent breaches

  • Long Residence (10-Year)

A tighter restriction. You cannot have exceeded 540 days (approx 18 months) in total over the entire 10-year period. One long holiday can destroy a decade of residency.

  • Calculation Methods

Older visas use 'Fixed' periods; newer ones use 'Rolling.' We identify which calculation applies to your specific visa history to find extra allowance.

  • Permitted Excess

Exceeded the limit? We argue for discretion based on serious illness, bereavement, or pandemic-related travel restrictions (Force Majeure).

The "Good Character" Test.

ILR is not just about time served; it is about conduct. The Home Office cross-references your application with HMRC and the Police National Computer (PNC).

The Tax Reconciliation: For business owners, we ensure your declared income to the Home Office matches your HMRC tax returns exactly. Discrepancies here (even accidental ones) are often cited as "Deception" (Paragraph 322(5)).

The Civil Penalty Check: Unpaid NHS debts, traffic violations, or CCJs can trigger a refusal. We run a pre-emptive "Suitability Check" to declare and contextualize these issues before the caseworker finds them.

Mandatory Integration Tests.

Unless exempt, you must pass two specific assessments to prove your integration into British society prior to submission.

Life in the UK Test

A 24-question digital exam covering British history, traditions, and law. You must score 75% to pass.

The Nuvora Standard: "The certificate has no expiry date, but the name on it must match your passport exactly. We verify your booking details to ensure the unique reference number (URN) is valid for settlement.

The Language Test (B1)

You must prove "intermediate" proficiency in Speaking and Listening. This is a step up from the A2 level required for visa extensions.

The Nuvora Standard: "Not all tests are valid. It must be a SELT (Secure English Language Test) with an approved provider. Alternatively, we can use your Degree (if Ecctis verified) or your National Passport (if from a majority English-speaking country).

Are you Exempt?

You do not need to take these tests if:

  • You are under 18 or over 65 years of age.

  • You have a long-term physical or mental condition that prevents you from studying (requires a specific Medical Waiver).

Settlement FAQ

  • For the standard 5-Year Route (Skilled Worker), no. Student years do not count. However, for the 10-Year Long Residence route, time spent on a Student visa does count, provided it is continuous.

  • Gaps of more than 14 days (overstayer) break continuous residence and reset your clock to zero. However, if the gap was less than 14 days and for a 'good reason,' we may be able to save the timeline.

  • Usually, you must hold ILR for 12 months before applying for Citizenship. However, if you are married to a British Citizen, you can apply for Naturalisation immediately after receiving your ILR.

  • Yes. Unless you are under 18 or over 65, the Life in the UK Test is mandatory for all settlement routes. You must also prove English at Level B1.
